Born in Switzerland, Françoise Murat qualified with a degree in Economics. She worked for a large Swiss watch manufacturer and then took a post with Gucci watches in Switzerland.  

Her travels then took her to the UK where she worked in mobile telecommunications developing marketing initiatives and strategic relations within the industry for global network operators in the UK, France, Italy, India, South Africa, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
 
Following a move as business development director for Europe, Asia and China to an international anti-counterfeiting company, Francoise dealt with governments, state agencies and brand owners such as L’Oreal, Gucci, British American Tobacco, Nestle and Glaxo SmithKline. 

In 2005 Françoise decided that the time had come to satisfy her creative side and pursue her true passions - Garden Design and Interior Design. She went back to University and set up Françoise Murat & Associates and uses her extensive experience in all interior and garden projects. 

Françoise speaks fluent English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
