Landscape Design Portfolio

Wildlife garden with pond and deck, woodland borders, dry garden and potager area - the client wanted a wildlife friendly garden with minimum hard landscaping to be as "green" as can be and also for the plants to attract a host of wildlife such as bees and butterflies as well as  moths and amphibians and newts in the pond. The garden has extremely large and tall Beech, Oak and Scots Pine trees - the new design had to integrate the volumes whilst still having a contemporary and architectural feel. The client wanted no hard edges and no straight lines as well as strong and colourful planting. The initial planting took place in June 2009  and the rest of the fruit trees and soft fruit will take place in the Autumn of 2009.
