Hampshire Society : Potager garden classes

Hampshire Society October 2009 issue with kitchen garden workshops

We are featured in Hampshire Society's October issue on "Flavours of Autumn" - all our gardening classes are completely booked up but watch this space for more workshops and classes coming next year- we're just finalising dates and they will be up on our workshops pages within the next few days.

It's been a busy few months and we have had so much more new work that we have not been able to keep up with blogging and news! We need to remedy as there are so many exciting things happening that we would like to share with our clients and friends.

In this issue we are featured with Newlyn's Farm Shop, famous for the many awards they have won and our partner's in the Hampshire Fare competition to Win a £2500.00 Potager garden design. We are still waiting to speak to the winner of this fantastic prize - but we will let you know who it is with pix and what we are planning for their garden as soon as we have all that information!

Our workshop range is perfect for anyone who has an interest in gardening and interiors. The gardening classes featured in October's Hampshire Society are particularly geared for the October Hampshire Fare season taking us all the way to Christmas. From Kitchen Garden Design for beginners,  where we take you through the design, planning and planting must dos for a gorgeous edible garden to a more advanced class which follows on from the beginners course. The advanced class looks at being a bit more adventurous with your garden and implementing flowers as well as soft fruit and fruiting trees. We also love sharing recipes - it's important to only grow what you're going to eat!

We also have a garden class in designing your very own herb garden. Whether for use in cooking, for growing a home pharmacy or because you want to plant a beautiful and fragrant garden, we have tips and ideas for you as well as recipes to try out.

Meanwhile don't forget that the Hampshire Fare Markets are on throughout October so why not visit them and have a chat with all these wonderful local growers who are right on your doorstep. Try Winchester's famous and most popular Farmer's Market here.
